Dance Partner Audition and Free Lesson Opportunity for Ladies!

Hi, and thanks for taking a couple of minutes to check out this unique opportunity!
I am currently looking for one (or more) dance partners to practice (and/or perform) Bachata, Kizomba, and Salsa.
This is currently open to Intermediate and Advanced Dancers Only, please 😊
For most ladies reading this, this would amount to you getting FREE PRIVATE LESSONS… or if you’re an advanced dancer, then maybe we’ll be teaching each other 😊
NOTE: Please don’t be offended if you express interest and you’re not selected, OR if I don’t think it’s a good fit. This has to be a win / win situation for both of us, and not just an opportunity to get free lessons 
MY BACKGROUND: For those who are unaware, I currently run the longest running weekly salsa dancing event in Columbus, Ohio, (more info at LincolnStreetSalsa.com). (Obviously we were unable to hold events during the state-mandated restrictions).
I travel extensively locally, nationally, and internationally improving my dance skills, including regularly attending dance academies in Latin America.
I have taught literally 10’s of thousands of people how to dance over the last dozen years, from private lessons to class sizes up to 100 people, corporate events, university events, private parties, etc. I have provided videos on this page so you can see samples of my dancing.
PRACTICE: If you just want to practice, then the commitment would be at least 1x per week. Usually 90 minutes to 2 hours per session. Of course we could practice more, based on your availability.
PERFORM: If you want to perform, then the commitment would be at least 2x – 3x per week. It’s possible that you could start out as a practice partner, and move to a performance partner later.
WHEN / WHERE COULD WE PERFORM? Obviously with Covid, no one knows what’s gonna happen from week-to-week, or day-to-day, with the status of live events. Normally I run my own live weekly events every Saturday so, pre-covid, we could just pick a date, prepare, and perform. Even with Covid, we can still target dates to prepare and release performance videos. So there’s no shortage of opportunities, in-person or online!
GEOGRAPHIC REGION: I live in Columbus, Ohio so hopefully you do, too. If you live in another Ohio city, such as Dayton, Cleveland, or Cincy, then we might be able to work something out, too.
QUALIFICATIONS:
👉 1) This is currently open to Intermediate and Advanced Dancers Only, please 😊
👉 2) Following Skills
👉 3) Teachability: Your willingness to follow and learn from me (or vice versa if you’re more skilled than me, lol)
👉 4) Fitness and Athleticism: A certain degree of fitness and athleticism is required for DIPS, LIFTS, SPLITS, and TRICKS.
👉 5) Availability: Your availability to practice at least 1x per week, or to prepare to perform at least 2x-3x per week.
👉 6) Reliability: Show up, be punctual, be committed, etc.
PRACTICE LOCATION(S): Since I will be essentially teaching for free, I don’t plan to travel to do that for people living in town. I teach paid dance lessons in my home, so obviously I have the space, music, and mirrors, etc. for dancing in my home where I dance daily. My home is located on the East Side of Columbus, near Whitehall, Reynoldsburg, and Bexley.
Other options may be if you currently have free access to a dance studio, or if you want to pay for access to a dance studio. Studios usually run about $15 per 45 minutes to rent floor space (which is an expense that I’d rather avoid).
HOW TO AUDITION:
✅ 1) Simply send me a me a message on Facebook Messenger. If we’re not already friends on Facebook, then you should ALSO text me at 614-774-8146, to make sure I get your message.
✅ 2) Who Are You? If you’re contacting me anonymously, and I can’t see who I’m dealing with… imagine how you would feel in that same situation?
You can see me, and know who I am, you have access to videos AND photos of me, so that’s only fair, right?
So if you text me, or I can’t see your pics on Facebook, please have the courtesy to send me a pic or 2 so that I can put a name with the face.
✅ 3) Do You Have Videos of You Dancing? I have provided at least 2 videos at the top of this page of me dancing. It would be helpful if you could send me a video link or clip of you dancing, as well, if you have some. If you don’t have any, that’s understandable.
✅ 4) After you contact me: I’ll get back to you as soon as I can and, if I think it might be a good fit, then we’ll make arrangements to schedule an audition. If you don’t hear from me in a day or 2, feel free to follow up to make sure that I didn’t overlook your message 😊
✅ 5) Where to Audition? Hopefully you can dance with me at an upcoming local event (if there is one). You can check on LincolnStreetSalsa.com and/or contact me to see if I have an event coming up in Columbus, Ohio!
